Minister of Finance Momtas El-Saeed issued on Thursday a decision that amends rules for counting taxes to small-sized enterprises to alleviate burdens on them.
The decision came in response to a memo sent by the confederation of chambers of commerce and professional associations complaining from the difficult regulations governing tax counting of small businesses.
Small-sized enterprises will no more be divided into three categories as before, the minister said.
Businesses with less than one-million-pound capital will not be asked to provide bills or documents about their payments, he said.
Owners of small businesses have complained that they pay high taxes because it is very difficult for them to provide bills proving their costs and payments.
